Position Summary
Full-time positions at Clovis Community College are not remote positions and require a physical presence on campus to fulfill duties and college-related responsibilities.
Under moderate supervisor, oversee transfer credit of evaluation process, serve as the Cannon Air force Base admissions representative and the School Certifying Official for Veterans Affairs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Transfer Credit Articulation:
Requires frequent and continuous sitting/moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and pushing and pulling of up to 10lbs.
Schedule Details
Must be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities
Transfer Credit Articulation:
- Manage the technical aspects of the transfer credit articulation and equivalency portion of the student information system (i.e. Banner, Workday); build and maintain equivalents for courses; coordinate evaluation with academic advising and division chairs (as needed) of all transfer credit equivalents for questionable courses; ensure that registration, pre-requisites and degree audit processes are supported through transfer articulation process.
- Maintain transfer articulation catalogs in student information system and determine need to expand catalog or load transfer coursework directly to transfer students as needed.
- Evaluate student transcripts, type transfer evaluation, compute grade point and academic standing.
- Coordinate the evaluation of college transcripts and admission of students into specialized programs.
- Provide direction for processing of changes of student information; review transfer evaluations; assist with determination of final acceptance of credit.
- Serve as the point of contact for service members throughout the admission, registration, and Tuition Assistance process.
- Work directly with Cannon AFB personnel to provide information to service members about CCC classes and programs.
- Review class rosters for eligibility and request base access for faculty, as needed.
- Process, determine eligibility, and certify veteran’s benefits.
- Monitor changes in enrollment for VA students and notify the Veteran’s Administration as appropriate.
- Submit tuition and fees, grades, and suspension status to the VA each semester.
- Provide information to students, prospective students, parents, and family members about Veteran Educational Benefits and applicant requirements, deadlines, and eligibility requirements.
- Use VA-Once to certify and update student information for VA and participate in required VA training. Maintain compliance with all VA requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality under guidelines of FERPA.
- Screen incoming calls, answer questions and direct calls as needed.
- Process all incoming academic transcripts and scanning.
- Create and maintain electronic student files including information change forms, registration forms and admission forms.
- Assist students in registration activities including adding/dropping courses, changing course status and student withdrawals.
- Assist as needed with the commencement/graduation ceremony.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Proficiency in computer applications is desired.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate’s degree with course work in business, social science, or related area with minimum of one year experience of transfer credit evaluation is preferred.
