What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Remodeler/ Painter position at Cloverwood Construction Inc.?
We’re a residential remodeling company working throughout the East Bay — Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, and surrounding areas. Our projects include full interior and exterior remodels: kitchens, bathrooms, additions, drywall, flooring, finish carpentry, and more.
We’re looking to add an experienced remodeler who also has strong painting skills to round out our team. You should take pride in your work, show up ready to go, and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Prep, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces with a high level of detail and care, ensuring clean lines and smooth finishes
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform various remodeling tasks
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, painting, and finish carpentry work
- Install or repair windows, doors, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and appliances
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to manage construction sites efficiently and uphold safety standards.
- Conduct plumbing and electrical work as needed, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on residential remodeling experience
- Proficient with power tools
- Skilled and efficient painter — interior and exterior
- Skilled in at least 3 trades (e.g., carpentry, drywall, tile, flooring, painting, basic plumbing/electrical)
- Works efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Keeps a clean, organized work site
- Has basic tools and reliable transportation (truck preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) or crew leadership experience is a plus
