Job Summary:
Clovernook Healthcare in Cincinnati is seeking a full-time RN Unit Manager to supervise day-to-day nursing activities for our skilled unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
Assist the DON/ADON in directing day-to-day nursing activities
Ensure that reference material (i.e., PDR'S, Federal and State Regulations, etc.) maintained at the nurses' stations is current
Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with the procedures set forth in the Nursing Service Procedures Manual
Assist in coordinating nursing with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care
Meet with the nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the department's services, programs, and activities
Complete accident/incident reports as necessary
Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary
Develop work assignments, and/or assist in completing and performing such tasks

Qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program
Must have, as a minimum, 2 year(s) of experience as a supervisor in LTC
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
