Lumber Yard Laborer

We are currently hiring for a yard labor position at our lumber yard.

This position is responsible for the following items:

• Loading customer orders
• Unloading deliveries
• Restocking and rotating inventory
• Putting together materials for deliveries
• Keeping the yard clean and tidy
• Assisting on deliveries as needed

Applicants must meet these requirements:

• Able and willing to lift over 80 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to take direction in a sometimes fast-paced environment
• Ability to do basic addition and subtraction
• Willingness to engage with customers in a positive way, even when busy
• Ability to operate a forklift/skid steer, or willing to learn

This position is an outdoor position. Applicant needs to expect to be working outside in the summer and winter and be able to dress accordingly.
