Surgical Technologist
Location: Rochester, NY (Finger Lakes Region)
Position Details
- Weekly Pay
- Local: $1,465/week ($40.69/hr)
- Travel: $1,615/week ($44.86/hr)
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour rotating Day/Evening/Night shifts
- Additional Hours: Up to 48 hours/week available
Job Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist during a wide variety of surgical procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and surgical supplies.
- Assist surgeons during orthopedic, cardiac, neuro, vascular, trauma, transplant, robotic, and other surgical specialties.
- Ensure accurate handling of surgical instruments and supplies while maintaining patient safety.
Requirements
- NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of Surgical Technologist experience
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Level I Trauma Operating Room experience preferred
- Must be able to scrub
