RN – Mental Health / Psych
Location: Kingston, NY
Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Nights)
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Weekly Pay: Local – $1,933/week ($56/hr) | Travel – $2,160/week ($62.61/hr)
Role Overview:
The Psych RN provides care in an inpatient behavioral health setting, supporting patients with acute mental health needs. Responsibilities include therapeutic interventions, medication administration, crisis management, patient monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Requirements:
- Active NY RN license
- Prior inpatient Psych/Mental Health experience preferred
- Strong assessment, de-escalation, and communication skills
- Ability to work night shift in a high-acuity behavioral health environment
