We’re Hiring: Full-Time Cafe Manager at Clover Cafe!
Clover Cafe is looking for a motivated, organized, and people-oriented manager to join our team in South Burlington, Vermont!
We’re looking for someone with at least one year of management experience who is passionate about hospitality, team leadership, and creating an exceptional customer experience.
The Role
- $21/hour plus tips
- Full-time, minimum 30 hours per week
- Morning shifts start at 6:00 AM
- Closing shifts end before 5:00 PM
- A hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced cafe environment
- A positive, supportive workplace with significant autonomy to take initiative and make an impact
Responsibilities Include
- Managing, supporting, and developing our cafe team
- Overseeing inventory, ordering, and product availability
- Maintaining consistent product quality and presentation
- Ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of cleanliness
- Training and onboarding new team members
- Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Identifying opportunities to improve operations, increase sales, and grow the business
- Helping maintain a happy, collaborative, and positive work environment
Who We’re Looking For
- At least one year of management experience, ideally in a cafe, restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
- Available for early morning shifts beginning at 6:00 AM
- Comfortable working shifts that end before 5:00 PM
- A team player who leads by example and enjoys working alongside staff
- Someone excited to contribute ideas, improve systems, and help a growing local business thrive
