About Clove

Clove makes the #1 shoe for healthcare workers — designed specifically for the doctors, nurses, and clinicians who are on their feet for 12-hour shifts and need footwear that keeps up. Since launching, Clove has outfitted over 800,000 healthcare professionals and logged more than 154 million shifts. We sell direct-to-consumer at goclove.com, with a growing catalog of shoes, boots, recovery slides, compression socks, apparel, and accessories.

Our website isn't just a storefront — it's the primary way our community discovers, evaluates, and buys the products we make. Getting that experience right is one of the most important things we do.

The Role

We're looking for an Ecommerce Manager who is equal parts operator, analyst, and experience obsessive. This person owns the day-to-day health and performance of Clove’s DTC and B2B websites — from merchandising and CRO to site reliability and UX — and is relentlessly focused on making it easier for healthcare workers to find, love, and buy Clove.

This is a high-ownership role. You won't wait to be told what to test or what to fix. You'll have the data, the judgment, and the autonomy to drive the site forward — and you'll be accountable for the results.

What You'll Own

Site Performance & Conversion

•    Own and continuously improve conversion rate across all key funnel stages — PDP, collections, cart, checkout

•    Design and run a structured A/B testing roadmap; document hypotheses, results, and learnings rigorously

•    Monitor site speed, uptime, and technical health; partner with developers to address issues proactively

•    Identify and eliminate friction in the customer journey, from landing page to post-purchase

•    Maintain & optimize B2B website

Merchandising & Product Experience

•    Own collection and PDP merchandising — product ordering, copy, imagery standards, upsell and cross-sell logic, and category structure

•    Ensure new product launches hit with the right positioning, content, and site architecture from day one

•    Manage the site across our full catalog: multiple shoe silhouettes, colorways, sizing variants (standard and wide), accessories, apparel, and bundles

•    Keep the site clean and accurate — no broken links, outdated promotions, or incorrect inventory signals

Analytics & Reporting

•    Build and own dashboards that give the business real-time visibility into ecommerce KPIs: sessions, CVR, AOV, bounce rate, add-to-cart rate, checkout abandonment, revenue by collection, and more

•    Conduct cohort analysis and customer behavior analysis to surface actionable insights

•    Partner with paid media, email, and organic teams to understand traffic quality and landing page performance

•    Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear, data-grounded way

Promotions & Campaigns

•    Manage the site-side execution of all promotional campaigns — banners, landing pages, timely content updates, and promotional logic

•    Own the site calendar; coordinate go-lives across product launches, sales events, and seasonal moments

•    Maintain and evolve our promotional mechanics (bundles, free gifts, tiered discounts, loyalty integration)

Platform & Vendor Management

•    Serve as the internal Shopify expert — understand its capabilities and limitations deeply, and push them intelligently

•    Own relationships with relevant app vendors and partners (reviews, search, upsell, personalization, etc.); evaluate and implement new tools when they move the needle

•    Partner with developers on larger technical projects; write clear briefs and QA thoroughly before anything goes live

•    Collaborate with agency team on Amazon storefront

Who You Are

You are data-obsessed

You don't guess — you measure. You know your funnel numbers cold, you spot anomalies before anyone else does, and you build dashboards that make the invisible visible. You've run hundreds of A/B tests and know how to design them properly, size them correctly, and draw real conclusions from the results.

You think like a customer

You've spent real time understanding who Clove's customer is — the nurse on her third 12-hour shift, the PA who's been in clogs for years. You can look at a product page and immediately know what's missing, what's confusing, or what would make someone click "Add to Cart" instead of bouncing.

You're a relentless operator

You take pride in a site that just works — accurate, fast, polished, and trustworthy. You notice the things that most people wouldn't: the modal that's slightly off on mobile, the collection that loads slowly, the promotion that wasn't turned off on time. You fix things because you care, not because someone else caught it first.

You have deep intellectual curiosity

You read about CRO, UX, and ecommerce obsessively. You listen to marketing podcasts. You follow what the best DTC brands are doing and ask why. You have a point of view on what makes a great product page, what the right loyalty program mechanic looks like, and how to think about site architecture for a catalog like Clove's.

You communicate clearly

You can synthesize a complex analysis into a clear recommendation. You know how to write a brief that a developer can actually build from. You're a trusted voice in cross-functional meetings because your perspective is grounded in real data and good judgment.

Experience & Requirements

•    4 years of ecommerce experience, with meaningful ownership of a DTC brand's website performance

•    Hands-on Shopify expertise — you've lived in a Shopify store and know it well

•    Strong analytics skills: fluency in Google Analytics 4, experience with UX diagnostic tools like HotJar and MS Clarity, experience with Shopify analytics, and comfort building dashboards (Looker, Tableau, or similar)

•    Experience running a structured A/B testing program (Optimizely, VWO, Convert, or similar)

•    Experience with apparel, footwear, or a multi-variant catalog is a strong plus

•    Familiarity with loyalty programs, bundling mechanics, and promotional campaign execution

•    Comfortable with HTML/CSS/Liquid at a working level — you can read code, edit templates, and communicate technically with developers

•    Strong project management skills; experience coordinating multiple workstreams across product, marketing, and engineering

Why This Role is a Great Opportunity

•    High ownership from day one — you'll run the site, not support it

•    A brand with genuine product-market fit, a loyal community, and strong word-of-mouth in healthcare — you're not starting from scratch

•    A complex, interesting catalog: multiple shoe styles, colorways, wide-fit variants, accessories, apparel, bundles, student pricing, HSA/FSA eligibility, group orders, and wholesale — plenty of surface area to work with

•    Room to build — there is meaningful work ahead in personalization, site architecture, international expansion, and CRO maturity

•    A mission that matters: the people who wear Clove are saving lives

Benefits

•    Competitive base salary

•    Health, dental, and vision insurance

•    Additional perks
