We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented Wireless Network Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will support different agencies in the federal government. The candidate shall be capable of configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining networking (LAN/WAN) wired and wireless technologies and devices. The candidate shall be capable of evaluating performance results, performing risk assessments, recommending changes affecting network transport configuration/implementation, documenting, and developing procedures and processes.
To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with Cloudshape.

Specific Tasks:
- Performing site surveys via Ekahau to develop wireless solution specific to the location
- Creating bill of materials to be used for equipment procurement
- Configuring equipment for specific locations
- Creating Change Requests and Runbook as required by customer’s Configuration Control Board
- Create and/or maintain technical documentation
- Travel to customer sites to install equipment and train POC on operation
- Coordinating with customer’s O&M team to ensure availability for configuration and installation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (i.e., EE, CPE, MIS, IT) or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- 3 years of experience
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities along with horizontal integration skills
- US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance
