Cloudless Skies Parks Co LLC, doing business as Muir Woods Trading Company, is dedicated to providing visitors with a meaningful and sustainable retail and dining experience that reflects the natural beauty and ecological identity of Muir Woods. At Muir Woods Trading Company, we provide visitors with a thoughtfully curated selection of products that honor John Muir’s legacy and reflect the conservation, sustainability, and ecological identity of this treasured site. Our café embraces these values by sourcing local, organic ingredients to create fresh, sustainable meals that enhance the visitor experience. Nestled within the towering redwoods, we offer a serene environment where guests can connect with nature, enjoy responsibly sourced foods, and take home meaningful, eco-conscious goods that support the preservation of our natural world.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Cafe' Manager and/or Lead to ensure food and beverage items meet our high standards.
• Provide exceptional guest service, embodying the Muir Woods spirit.
• Keep all assigned areas "First Guest Fresh" through continuous cleaning and maintenance.
• Work efficiently and positively as part of a motivated team, exceeding expectations.
• Adhere to Company recipes and Safe Food Handling procedures.
• Maintain required food and safety logs promptly.
• Follow Company Cash Handling Procedures.
• Uphold Health and Safety standards, policies, and initiatives.

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of food preparation, storage, sanitation, and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Obtain ServSafe and/or State Food Handler Certification.
• Flexibility to work various day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, spending the majority of the shift on your feet.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Embrace frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Cafe' experience (1 year minimum preferred) and customer service experience.
