Role: Solution Architect – Payments (Java)

Duration: Long Term Contract (12 Months Min)

Rate: $70 On W2

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end solution architecture for payment processing platforms and related product components.
• Gather and analyze requirements with Product teams and subject matter experts.
• Design APIs aligned with OpenAPI/Swagger standards and define secure integration patterns.
• Guide implementation teams with comprehensive solution design and architecture governance.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance platform functionality, scalability, and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong payments industry experience covering eCommerce, Card Present, Card Not Present, Digital Wallets, and ACH.
• Knowledge of payment gateways and ISO card interchange messaging specifications.
• Hands-on expertise with Java and Spring Framework (Security, WebFlux, Actuator, Cloud).
• Experience designing REST APIs, event-driven systems with Kafka, caching with Redis, and data persistence with Oracle Exadata.
• Cloud experience across AWS, GCP, Azure, and/or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and monitoring tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Gerrit, Maven, Jenkins, Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Harness, AppDynamics, Jira, and Confluence.
• Ability to create sequence diagrams, state diagrams, and secure data transmission/data persistence designs.
