About the role
We’re seeking a high impact, growth oriented and hands on Vice President of Public Sector Sales to lead, build and scale our US Federal and SLED (State, Local, and Education) businesses. In this executive leadership role, you'll drive strategy, expand market presence, and grow a high-performing team that helps U.S. government agencies securely modernize their digital infrastructure.
This is a build and scale opportunity leading several rapidly growing Fed and SLED teams across the US where you will be counted on to recruit and hire stage appropriate talent, shape the go-to-market strategy and lead a growing business with the leading cloud-native cybersecurity and developer platform vendor. What you'll do:
Strategic Leadership
Build and execute a scalable go-to-market plan for the U.S. Federal and SLED markets, aligned with company growth goals.
Stay ahead of public sector trends (GSA schedules, SEWP, GWACs, FedRAMP, Zero Trust mandates) and translate them into actionable sales strategies.
Serve as a thought leader and public voice in the cybersecurity and government IT ecosystem.
Team Building & Leadership
Recruit, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team with expertise in public sector procurement and cloud technology.
Instill a high-accountability, performance-driven culture focused on customer value, collaboration, and results.
Promote inclusion and continuous learning across the team.
Customer & Partner Engagement
Establish and grow executive-level relationships with agency leaders, procurement officials, partners and system integrators.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers navigating security transformation, cloud adoption, AI and compliance mandates.
Represent the company at industry events, executive briefings, and strategic partner engagements.
Operational & Cross-Functional Execution
Own pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales execution discipline across the Public Sector segments.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, and Legal to tailor campaigns, influence roadmaps, and streamline procurement.
Provide competitive insights and field feedback to shape pricing, enablement, and roadmap decisions.
Who you are:
Proven Sales Executive: 10+ years in executive sales leadership roles with a strong track record of exceeding targets in the public sector (Federal, SLED).
Cloud & Cyber Savvy: Deep understanding of modern infrastructure (SaaS, IaaS), network security, Zero Trust, SASE, and compliance-driven procurement.
Government Sales Expert: Knowledge of federal procurement processes and contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA, SEWP, GWACs).
Inspirational Leader: A builder of high-performing teams with an “always be recruiting” mindset, leading with empathy, urgency, and accountability.
Data-Driven Operator: Strong grasp of sales metrics, pipeline dynamics, and CRM hygiene.
Mission-Aligned: Passionate about supporting the mission of US public sector organizations and national security.
