As the SVP of FP&A you lead a high performing FP&A organization, be a part of the finance leadership team and report directly to the CFO. In this role you will be responsible for the development and ongoing assessment of the Company's financial strategy and orchestrating all FP&A activities company-wide. You will oversee the Go-To-Market (GTM) finance team, the Corporate FP&A team and the Business Partner FP&A team. As a successful leader in this role you will build an effective business partnership with senior leaders (including C-level) and provide strategic finance support and thought leadership in support of Company goals and objectives.
As the SVP of FP&A you will:
* Lead the planning, budgeting, forecasting processes, as well as analysis of company financial performance
* Oversee all GTM finance functions including (but not limited to) forecasting ARR, revenue, retention, identifying value creation and growth opportunities and providing strategic financial decision support and recommendations to senior sales leadership
* Serve as a strategic partner with senior business leaders to manage department expense forecasts and deliver insights to more effectively allocate resources and maximize ROI across the Company
* Manage all corporate FP&A functions including balance sheet, cash flow and P&L, as well as support monthly and quarterly operating reviews and Board of Directors and sponsor and lender financial reporting
* Develop and mentor a high-performing FP&A team that supports total Company objectives and deliverables including planning, budgeting, forecasting and strategic analysis of company financial results
* Accountable for the creation of financial content for Board of Directors meetings and monthly operating reviews
* Monitor, analyze and manage relevant sales KPIs including ARR, revenue, retention, new logo, expansion metrics and churn while recommending opportunities for accelerating growth
* Lead the strategic long range planning process and annual budget preparation including consolidating department budgets across COGS, CAPEX, OPEX and Headcount
* Lead investment prioritization initiatives to ensure the company is optimally allocating resources and maximizing ROI on its investments
* Lead the creation of supplemental financial presentations for lenders and ensure compliance with key debt covenants
* Own, manage, and/or support financial reporting including monthly sponsor reporting and reviews of financial performance with the executive team
* Evaluate and recommend options to automate and/or improve overall FP&A processes and related systems
* Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and financial partners
* Provide financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for a variety of special projects that may include M&A, new business initiatives, external market analysis and other ad-hoc projects
We are excited about you if you have:
* 15 years of relevant progressive finance experience in environments that have seen growth and scale; SaaS and/or software finance experience strongly preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; advanced degree a plus
* Prior experience leading an FP&A team globally
* Executive leadership skills with experience supporting and/or partnering with the board, investors, executives and/or senior management levels
* Demonstrated expertise with KPI's and analytical techniques relevant for a Software, Subscription and/or SaaS business
* Experience with financial statement modeling (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
* Proven track record of developing people, leading and managing high-performing teams
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, cultivator of collaboratively working relationships with teams across an organization
* Forward-thinking, analytical and possessing a growth mindset
* Advanced Excel / Sheets and Powerpoint / Google Slides skills
* Strong organization and project management skills
