SAP POS (Point of Sale) Consultant

Position: SAP POS (Point of Sale)

Location: Chesapeake, VA (Day 1 Onsite No Remote Option)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Point of Contact (POC) professional to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and SAP functional/technical consultants to ensure smooth coordination, issue resolution, and successful SAP operations.

This role requires deep understanding of SAP processes, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day SAP-related activities across teams and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary SAP point of contact for business users and technical teams.
• Coordinate with functional and technical SAP consultants to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Monitor and manage SAP system tickets, incidents, and enhancements.
• Support business process owners in identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Facilitate daily status meetings, updates, and escalation management.
• Ensure SAP best practices are followed across modules and projects.
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams to maintain system stability and performance.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, and system configurations.
• Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful go-live support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience working with SAP systems (functional or coordination roles).
• Solid understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, or WM.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Experience in managing incident and change management processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite from Day 1 in Chesapeake, VA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Prior experience acting as SAP Coordinator or POC in large-scale implementations.
• Exposure to SAP testing and deployment activities.
