Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, protecting company assets, and helping implement effective security measures across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network traffic and systems for security events and incidents.
• Investigate and respond to security alerts, breaches, and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans on systems and applications.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist in the management of security tools like firewalls, SIEMs, endpoint protection, and DLP systems.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure software deployment and infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and document security breaches and mitigation steps.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).

Requirements:

• W2 Marketing 8-15years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT security roles.
• Knowledge of network protocols, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection technologies.
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks).
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
