Position Overview
This position will begin part-time, working Mondays and Wednesdays, with the potential to transition to full-time as our practice grows.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and provide chair-side support.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
- Take dental X-rays as permitted by applicable credentials and state regulations.
- Perform coronal polishing during prophylaxis appointments, as permitted by applicable state regulations and credentials.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control and OSHA standards.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation using Eaglesoft dental software.
- Use Eaglesoft to access patient charts, update records, and support daily clinical operations.
- Communicate effectively with the dentist and team members to maintain an efficient daily schedule.
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to assist with the needs of a growing practice.
Qualifications
- At least one year of dental assisting experience required.
- Experience using Eaglesoft dental practice management software required.
- Current dental assisting and radiography credentials as required by state regulations.
- Strong work ethic and pride in providing quality work.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to support coworkers.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to scheduled workdays and responsibilities.
