Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble, solder, and inspect professional audio electronics including microphones, in-line gain devices, and preamps.
Experience soldering audio or low-noise electronics, including connectors, transformers, and small-signal circuits, with a strong emphasis on clean, reliable workmanship, is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform through-hole and selective SMT soldering on PCBs using hand-soldering techniques
- Assemble audio electronic components following schematics and work instructions
- Inspect solder joints for cosmetic quality, mechanical integrity, and electrical reliability
- Perform and follow written test and measurement procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, ESD-aware work environment
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot assembly issues
- Support continuous improvement in build quality and consistency
Experience
- Proven experience soldering in critical applications
- Strong through-hole soldering skills; SMT experience preferred
- Ability to read schematics and assembly documentation
- Familiarity with IPC-610 class 2 or equivalent quality standards preferred
- Experience working in a production line, inspecting CCAs, and mechanical assemblies.
- Steady hand, strong attention to detail, and pride in workmanship
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
