Job Details
Responsibilities:
· Configure, maintain, and optimize Cisco switches, firewalls, DNA Center, and Cisco Umbrella.
· Manage firewall security policies, VPN configurations, and network segmentation strategies.
· Implement automation and management workflows leveraging Cisco DNA Center for provisioning, monitoring, and assurance.
· Use Cisco Umbrella for cloud-based security, policy enforcement, and threat protection.
· Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity, configuration, and security issues.
· Participate in network architecture planning, upgrades, and scaling initiatives.
· Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards.
· Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams on cross-functional projects.
· Provide tier-2/3 escalation support for network-related incidents and service requests.
Required Qualifications
· 3–5 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or related role.
· Strong working knowledge of Cisco switching and firewall platforms (IOS/NX-OS, ASA, Firepower).
· Experience deploying and managing Cisco DNA Center and Cisco Umbrella.
· Solid understanding of routing, switching, and network protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
· Experience with network monitoring, packet analysis, and troubleshooting tools.
