I. Overview
We are seeking two Field Engineers to support digital signage infrastructure and associated IT systems across the airport campus. This role focuses on asset discovery, field troubleshooting, documentation, hardware support, and maintenance coordination within a large-scale, live operational environment.
II. Key Responsibilities
- Perform site surveys and asset validation, including GPS location capture for all digital signage devices and infrastructure
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of hardware inventory, network connectivity, and system configurations
- Troubleshoot digital displays, video walls, media players, kiosks, and touchscreens (5,000 devices)
- Diagnose and resolve video and connectivity issues (HDMI, DisplayPort, signal, resolution, orientation)
- Coordinate repair, replacement, and maintenance activities for field hardware and infrastructure
- Support testing, deployments, upgrades, and preventive/corrective maintenance
- Generate and apply QR code asset labels to support inventory tracking and lifecycle management
- Document network, power, and connectivity details, including IP addressing, VLANs, switch connections, fiber/copper links, and UPS/PDU configurations
- Maintain accurate asset inventory records and troubleshooting logs
- Support documentation of end-to-end system connectivity between field devices and CMS platforms
III. Deliverables
- Comprehensive asset inventory and documentation package

- QR code asset tracking and labeling records
- Updated infrastructure and system documentation
- Phases include:

V. Qualifications
- Experience in field engineering, IT support, or digital signage environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills across AV/display technologies and networked devices
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and remote access tools
- Experience supporting digital signage systems, video walls, and media players
- Familiarity with platforms such as Samsung MagicINFO/VXT or similar (preferred)
- Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced operational environment
- Must pass required background checks and security clearances
