We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of HVAC experience and be confident handling service calls independently. This role is ideal for a technician who has strong troubleshooting skills, installation experience, and the ability to identify and sell replacement or upgrade opportunities to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Run service calls independently and provide professional, customer-focused service.
- Perform HVAC installations, replacements, and system upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for system replacements and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
- Effectively communicate repair and replacement options, including pricing and benefits.
- Perform soldering and brazing as required.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC system issues.
- Work with rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, and other HVAC equipment.
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and HVAC industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- 2 years of HVAC service experience.
- Ability to independently run and complete service calls.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC installations and replacements.
- Ability to sell HVAC installations, replacements, and upgrades.
- Proficient in soldering and brazing.
- RTU (Rooftop Unit) experience is highly preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- EPA certification preferred/required depending on local requirement.
