Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Developer to support the build, implementation, and standardization of a modern Application Lifecycle Management framework for the enterprise client. The resource will play a hands-on role in building reusable GitHub Actions and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, supporting Power Platform and Azure component deployments, and enabling controlled promotion across development, SIT, UAT, pre-production, and production environments.

The role requires strong experience in DevOps engineering, GitHub-based ALM, Power Platform deployment automation, Azure integration components, release management, and environment governance. The resource should be able to work closely with architects, client technical teams, developers, platform owners, and project leadership to deliver a repeatable, scalable, and governed ALM model.

Key Responsibilities

ALM and DevOps Implementation

·        Configure and implement GitHub repositories, GitHub Actions, and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.

·        Develop reusable pipeline templates, deployment workflows, automation scripts, and environment provisioning components.

·        Support the implementation of a GitHub-based ALM foundation that can be reused across current and future application streams.

·        Configure source control, branching strategies, pull request policies, code review workflows, merge controls, validation checks, and release approvals.

·        Build and support deployment automation for different workstreams, and future application onboarding.

·        Implement automated build, validation, deployment checks, quality gates, approval workflows, and deployment validation patterns.

·        Power Platform and Azure Deployment Support

·        Support deployment automation for Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, portal components, security roles, business units, configuration data, and shared dependencies.

·        Support Azure-based code or integration components that are part of the application deployment path.

·        Assist with packaging, exporting, importing, validating, and promoting Power Platform solutions across environments.

·        Support deployment of targeted hotfixes, limited components, and release-specific changes without forcing full solution deployment where avoidable.

·        Work with shared components and dependencies to reduce deployment risk and improve consistency.

Environment and Release Automation

·        Support automated environment provisioning and rebuild capabilities.

·        Develop reusable environment templates and configuration standards.

·        Configure controlled deployment flows across Dev, Integration/SIT, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.

·        Implement rollback, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support capabilities.

·        Support release isolation, hotfix branching, merge-back processes, and deployment traceability.

·        Validate deployment consistency and operational readiness across onboarded applications.

·        Governance, Quality, and Documentation

·        Implement governance controls, release approvals, compliance checks, security controls, and deployment traceability.

·        Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, deployment procedures, and support documentation.

·        Support ALM standards, best practices, reusable templates, and operational procedures.

·        Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, demos, testing, validation, and knowledge transfer sessions.

·        Work with technical teams to enable UAT deployment execution and gradual operational ownership.

Required Skills and Experience

·        12 years of experience in software development, DevOps, ALM, release engineering, and deployment automation.

·        Strong hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines, repository management, and branching strategies.

·        Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, release automation, environment promotion, quality gates, approval workflows, and deployment governance.

·        Experience with Microsoft Power Platform ALM, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, managed/unmanaged solutions, environment variables, connection references, and solution deployment.

·        Experience with Azure-based components, including Azure Functions, APIs, service connections, identity, secrets, and integration services.

·        Experience developing reusable pipeline templates, scripts, and automation frameworks.

·        Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, GitHub CLI, or similar tools.

·        Experience with deployment monitoring, logging, rollback planning, and operational support readiness.

·        Strong understanding of source control practices, pull request workflows, code review standards, and release branch strategies.

·        Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues, environment issues, pipeline failures, and integration problems.

·        Strong documentation skills, including technical runbooks, deployment guides, and operational procedures.

·        Preferred Skills

·        Experience with Microsoft public sector, healthcare, or regulated environments.

·        Experience with Power Platform Build Tools or PAC CLI.

·        Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, or hybrid DevOps environments.

·        Knowledge of governance, compliance, auditability, and deployment traceability requirements.

·        Experience supporting enterprise-scale ALM standardization across multiple application teams.

·        Familiarity with AI-assisted development, automated test generation, and pipeline quality checks.
