Cloud Core MSP is looking for a part-time contract B2B sales representative to help open new business conversations with small businesses, municipalities, healthcare offices, senior living organizations, professional offices, nonprofits, and other local organizations.
This role is designed for someone who is comfortable with B2B outreach and wants a flexible part-time sales opportunity. It may be a good fit for someone who already works in outside sales, telecom, copier sales, insurance, payroll services, merchant services, business services, or local relationship-based sales.
You will help identify prospects, make outreach, start conversations, document activity, and help schedule qualified meetings for Cloud Core MSP.
Cloud Core MSP provides managed IT support for organizations that need practical help with computers, Microsoft 365, email, cybersecurity basics, backups, networks, Wi-Fi, phones, printers, and vendor coordination.
This is a commission-based independent contractor role. It is not a salaried position.
Responsibilities
- Identify and contact potential business clients
- Make outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Use the company-provided CRM to track all sales activity
- Use the company-provided softphone and company email system for outreach
- Follow provided qualification process
- Help schedule introductory calls and assessment meetings
- Maintain clear notes on prospects, conversations, objections, and follow-up dates
- Communicate regularly with Cloud Core MSP about active opportunities
- Represent the company professionally in all outreach

- Self-motivated and able to work without daily supervision
- Comfortable working as an independent contractor (1099)

Compensation
This is a commission-based independent contractor role.
Commission structure for qualified new managed services accounts:
- Upfront commission equal to 100% of the first month’s collected recurring managed services revenue
- 10% monthly residual commission for months 2–13 while the client remains active and in good standing
- 5% monthly residual commission for months 14–25 while the client remains active and in good standing
Commission applies only to approved recurring managed services revenue.
Commission does not apply to hardware, software pass-through, Microsoft 365 licensing, VoIP carrier charges, taxes, project labor, third-party services, reimbursed expenses, or unpaid invoices unless specifically approved in writing.
Commissions are paid only after Cloud Core MSP receives payment from the client.
If a client cancels, fails to pay, or is terminated for cause within the first 90 days, any unpaid commission is forfeited.
Final commission terms are governed by the contractor agreement.
Lead Ownership and Tracking
A prospect must be entered into the company CRM and accepted by Cloud Core MSP before it is considered assigned to the sales contractor.
Sales activity must be conducted through company-approved systems, including the CRM, company email, and company softphone.
Untracked activity may not qualify for commission.

- CRM access
- Company email account
- Softphone access
- Sales talking points
- Target client pool in CRM
- Basic service overview materials
- Support for qualified meetings and proposals
You must be willing to use the provided systems so sales activity can be tracked properly.
Schedule
Flexible part-time schedule.
This role is built for someone who may already have a full-time job, another sales role, or existing local business relationships.
Evening, lunch-hour, or limited daytime prospecting may be acceptable, but you must be able to communicate clearly and follow up reliably.
Work Location
Remote / field-based.
Local or regional contacts in North Carolina or South Carolina are preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
