Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Tier III Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex system troubleshooting, design innovative solutions, and support our clients’ critical IT infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in virtualization, cloud platforms, and system management to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across diverse environments. Your proactive approach will help drive our mission of delivering top-tier IT support with energy and precision.

Duties

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues across distributed systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure such as Proxmox Private Cloud, AWS and Azure.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable IT solutions using Proxmox, server virtualization, and automation tools to enhance system efficiency.
• Leverage AI tools such as NEO to automate and streamline ticket handling writing scripts, SCIM and other integration tools
• Manage and monitor IT infrastructure utilizing advanced monitoring tools such as Zabbix to proactively identify and resolve potential problems before they impact operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop system design architectures that incorporate Linux/Unix administration, scripting (Python, Bash), APIs, and DevOps practices.
• Support server administration tasks such as GPO writing/updating, DFS management and server tuning including Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Contribute to the development of system troubleshooting protocols and technical troubleshooting support documentation.
• Participate in Agile development cycles (SDLC), ensuring seamless integration of new features or updates into existing systems.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Proxmox and CEPH virtualization technologies and server virtualization concepts.
• Strong background in automation scripting using Python, Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, Powershell and similar languages.
• Proven expertise in distributed systems architecture and cloud infrastructure management on platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration along with Windows server environments.
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure including VPNs, APIs, operating systems, and computer management tools.
• Hands-on experience with IT monitoring tools for proactive system health checks.
• Excellent engineering troubleshooting skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to technical support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
