Duties
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries and recommendations
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to increase sales
- Conduct product demos when applicable to enhance customer engagement
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked
- Stock shelves and manage inventory levels throughout the store
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy
- Assist with basic store operations including cleaning, organizing, and ensuring a welcoming environment
Skills
- Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Ability to perform retail math for sales, discounts, and inventory management
- Customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos techniques
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
