Role: Java Backend Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC / Iselin, NJ (Day 1 Hybrid – 3 days office in a week)
Contract -W2 . H1b transfers are accepted.
Client round will be Face to Face
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, ensuring loose coupling, high scalability, and maintainability.
- Develop and optimize asynchronous processing using Java multithreading and concurrency mechanisms.
- Integrate with various data sources such as MongoDB and implement efficient data modelling and querying.
- Build and manage data pipelines and real-time data processing with Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and provide mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, multithreading, and concurrency.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Solid understanding and experience implementing microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Experience working with Kafka or similar messaging queues.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Prior experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise applications is advantageous.
