IT Sales Specialist – Commercial & Government Accounts

Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven IT Sales Specialist to drive growth across commercial clients and government agencies (federal, state, and local). This role will focus on new client acquisition, account expansion, and revenue generation by positioning Cloud Bridge’s IT staffing and consulting capabilities.
This is a full-cycle sales role requiring a strong hunter mindset and the ability to navigate both enterprise buying cycles and government procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development
- Identify, target, and win new business across commercial enterprises and government agencies
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Develop strategic account plans for both private and public sector clients
Commercial Sales
- Drive IT staffing and consulting sales within mid-market and enterprise clients
- Engage with hiring managers, HR, and leadership teams to understand talent needs
- Position Cloud Bridge solutions in Life Sciences, AI, and IT domains
Government Sales
- Identify and pursue opportunities across federal, state, and local agencies
- Leverage contract vehicles such as GSA MAS and state contracts
- Track and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs using platforms like SAM.gov and GovWin
- Build relationships with contracting officers, program managers, and prime vendors
Account Management
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships across both sectors
- Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services and capabilities
Required Qualifications:
- 3–8 years of experience in IT sales or consulting services sales
- Proven ability to sell into commercial clients and/or government agencies
- Strong understanding of sales cycles in enterprise and/or public sector environments
- Experience with government procurement processes is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and proactive (“hunter” mindset)
