Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using advanced data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to communicate key insights effectively.
- Design and implement robust data models and database structures utilizing SQL Server, Oracle, or other SQL databases to support analytical needs.
- Perform requirements analysis by collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like Talend or custom scripts in Python, R, Bash (Unix shell), ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the pipeline.
- Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in planning, testing, deployment, and documentation of analytics solutions within an Agile environment.
- Conduct analysis of business processes through data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting to facilitate strategic planning and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL query management and database design principles across SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for creating engaging dashboards and reports.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes using Talend or similar tools; familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile project management practices for effective collaboration in fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in analysis skills including Excel data analysis techniques, VBA automation, and analysis of linked data sources.
- Ability to perform requirements analysis accurately by engaging with business stakeholders to define clear objectives.
- Technical proficiency in database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle; experience with query optimization is a plus.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle analysis for integrating analytics solutions seamlessly into existing systems.
- Excellent communication skills combined with strong project management abilities to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
