Duties:
- Develop and monitor project schedules using MS Project, including milestones, dependencies, resource assignments, and critical paths.
- Identify alternatives for accommodating resource conflicts or compressing schedules, and document risks associated with those alternatives.
- Develop and manage project logs and registers, including stakeholder registers, risk registers, issue logs, action item logs, and decision logs.
- Create and maintain project and product meeting artifacts, including agendas, meeting notes, and documented outcomes.
- Clarify project scope by defining business need, project goals, in-scope and out-of-scope items, critical success factors, constraints, and key deliverables.
- Perform risk management activities throughout the project lifecycle and escalate issues to management as appropriate.
- Track key performance indicators and prepare monthly reports detailing progress, risks, and mitigation strategies for executive leadership.
- Communicate effectively with project leads, executive management, steering committee members, the CIO, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment across leadership and project teams.
- Coordinate, lead, and facilitate project meetings to review goals, deliverables, progress, risks, issues, and changes.
- Plan and conduct project analysis sessions, including phase reviews, post-deliverable reviews, lessons learned sessions, and project closeout meetings.
- Act as an escalation point for project issues and support resolution and remediation efforts.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for project teams and overall project delivery.
- Review change requests, assess impact, coordinate approval or rejection decisions, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
- Perform supervisory and other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree or combination of experience and education.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- 6 years of experience managing large, complex projects involving multiple system integrations.
- 6 years of experience designing and maintaining project plans across multiple projects.
- 2 years of experience using project tracking and reporting tools such as MS Project or similar tools.
- 2 years of experience preparing presentations and presenting project information to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, including executive management, operational staff, and line staff.
- Experience managing project schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, and critical paths.
- Experience maintaining project governance artifacts such as risk registers, issue logs, action item logs, stakeholder registers, and decision logs.
- Experience facilitating project meetings and producing clear meeting documentation and outcomes.
- Experience with scope definition, deliverable planning, and change request impact assessment.
- Experience performing risk management and issue escalation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience tracking key performance indicators and producing monthly status reporting for leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical teams, leadership, and executive stakeholders.
