Overview:
We are seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer who will support our NYC client. This role will provide engineering, administration, and Tier 2/3 support across 311 cloud and on-premises infrastructure, Active Directory, Entra ID, ManageEngine BSP, and IAM operations. The selected candidate will help maintain secure identity services and provide off-hours support as needed to support 24x7 operational coverage.
Tasks:
- Active Directory Engineering and Administrator – 30%
- Entra AD Engineering and Administrator – 40 %
- MEBSE Engineering and Administrator – 20%
- IAM T2 Technical Support – 10%
Duties:
- Provide IAM engineering and operational support for 311 cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Perform Active Directory engineering and administration, including identity, access, directory, and authentication support.
- Manage Entra ID engineering and administration activities, including configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
- Support ManageEngine BSP engineering and administration for IAM-related operations and service delivery.
- Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 IAM technical support, resolving escalated access, authentication, and account issues.
- Participate in 24x7 operational support coverage, including off-hours calls as needed.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 12 years experience of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IAM solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise with Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, SAML, and OAuth.
- Proven track record successfully delivering projects involving complex technical subjects and tasks.
- Deep understanding of RBAC methodologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications:
- PowerShell scripting experience.
- Entra/Azure Active Directory experience.
- Browser controls experience.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises identity environments.
