Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead who will Lead the DevOps team to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a data warehouse solution in Azure environment with strict government security and compliance requirements.

Duties

• Lead DevOps team in setting up Azure cloud infrastructure for data warehouse
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline implementation using Azure DevOps
• Manage Azure data services configuration (Synapse, Data Lake, Storage)
• Lead Infrastructure as Code implementation (ARM templates, Terraform)
• Oversee network security, firewalls, and VPNs per NYC requirements
• Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Ensure compliance with NYC security policies and standards
• Configure Azure Active Directory integration and MFA
• Mentor and guide DevOps team members
  
  

Mandatory Qualifications

• 7 years in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps leadership
• Strong Azure expertise and certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect)
• Proven experience leading DevOps teams on large-scale projects
• Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Bash)
• Azure DevOps proficiency and CI/CD pipeline development
• Azure data services experience (Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory)
• Security implementation (Azure Security Center, Azure Policy)
  
  

Desirable Qualifications: 

• Government project experience, preferably NYC
• Experience with NYC security compliance requirements
• Docker and Kubernetes expertise
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• Experience mentoring and building DevOps teams
