Overview:
Location: Albany, NY
Salary: $92,000 - $102,000

We are seeking an AWS / DevOps Consultant who will support our client. With the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and delivery pipelines in an enterprise environment. This role focuses on building reliable AWS solutions, automating infrastructure and application delivery, and improving system visibility through monitoring and observability. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and able to quickly learn new tools and environments.

Duties:

• Design, deploy, and support AWS cloud infrastructure using core services such as EC2 and IAM.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to support scalable, consistent, and repeatable environment provisioning.
• Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and operational workflows.
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions to improve system performance, reliability, and issue resolution.
• Create and maintain scripts and automation using Python and/or Java and Unix shell scripting.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, access, and system issues across development and operational environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate new enterprise solutions and quickly become productive in evolving environments.
  

• Associate’s degree or combination of experience and education.
• 3 years of experience working with AWS and DevOps practices in enterprise environments.
• 3 years of experience with core AWS services, including EC2, IAM/access control, and cloud infrastructure configuration.
• 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and observability/monitoring tools.
• 2 years of experience programming in Python and/or Java.
• 2 years of experience using Unix commands and shell scripting for administration, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new enterprise solutions quickly and become productive in a fast-paced environment.
