We are seeking an AEM Solutions Lead who will support our client. Duties:
- Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, Sling Jobs, and integrations for public-facing websites.
- Support the NYC Design System rollout across nyc.gov guided experiences by translating requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dispatcher configuration, caching, application performance, and production stability.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, including Cloud Manager operations, automated builds, deployments, and testing.
- Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and business teams to define requirements, identify risks, and deliver maintainable AEM platform solutions.
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and guide development teams on AEM best practices, DevOps, Cloud, and Agile delivery.
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems such as CRM, DAM, analytics tools, custom APIs, search engines, CDN platforms, and translation tools.
- Monitor application health and implement observability, diagnostics, and performance improvements across environments.
- Stay current with AEM features, Adobe Experience Cloud services, and related cloud advancements.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in AEM development.
- Strong hands-on experience with AEM Sites, Assets, Sling Jobs, and workflows.
- Experience providing technical leadership to development teams, including mentoring, conducting code reviews, and promoting industry best practices across DevOps, Cloud, and Agile delivery.
- Experience collaborating with business teams to define requirements, identify risks, and define maintainable solutions within the AEM platform.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting AEM components, integrations, and applications for building websites.
- Expertise in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of Dispatcher configurations, caching techniques, and performance tuning.
- Experience deploying websites to AEM Cloud Service and on-premises installations.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Jenkins, or other DevOps tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience resolving production issues in AEM environments.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and team collaboration tools.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Target.
- Experience integrating Adobe Analytics with AEM.
- Experience with Akamai Content Delivery Network for websites.
- Experience with language translation tools such as Smartling or TransPerfect.
- Experience with search engines such as Coveo or Solr.
