Cloud 9 Smoke Shop is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating a welcoming and knowledgeable shopping experience for our customers in a smoke shop environment. Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product recommendations, education, and a positive vibe
- Restock and manage inventory, ensuring shelves and displays are neat, full, and visually appealing
- Sell products effectively by listening to customer needs and suggesting the best options (including vapes, glassware, accessories, etc.)
- Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions and returns
- Keep the sales floor and back stock areas clean, organized, and compliant
- Work closely with your team to keep things running smoothly and maintain a positive, collaborative environment
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and knowledge of products
Skills
- Strong team leadership and support skills—lead by example and lift up your crew
- Previous retail or smoke shop experience is a plus, but not required
- A natural people person—friendly, easy to talk to, and confident
- Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Bilingual skills are a bonus and help us serve our diverse customers
- Familiarity with or interest in smoke shop products (vapes, tobacco, glass, etc.)
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash/card transactions
