Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them select products that meet their needs and preferences
• Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and detailed explanations
• Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with care
• Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals, promotions, or complementary items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are visually appealing and accessible
• Conduct regular stock checks to monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and ensure product availability
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information remotely while maintaining professionalism

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales transactions with strong cash handling skills and basic math proficiency
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse community effectively
• Prior supervising or team leadership experience is a plus for supporting store operations and training new staff
• Experience with POS systems, merchandising, stocking, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Knowledge of cannabis products or grocery store experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided
• Strong customer service orientation combined with the ability to upsell and promote products confidently
