Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster customer loyalty
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing orders efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience
• Restock bar supplies regularly, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods effectively while upholding high standards of hospitality

Requirements

• Valid work permit to legally work as a bartender in the hospitality industry
• Proven experience in bartending, preferably within fine dining or upscale restaurant settings
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktail creation, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales and cash handling
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Experience in food handling, beverage recipe development, and food safety protocols
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate order processing
• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
