We are looking for a Live Selling Host / Fashion Sales Personality to with presenting clothing on screen though live events. This role is perfect for someone who loves fashion, enjoys interacting with people, and knows how to bring energy and personality to a live audience.
You’ll host live online events featuring women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, and other fashion items. Many of these events will feature fast-paced, value-driven sales where items start at very low prices, so we need someone who can keep the energy high, move merchandise quickly, and make shopping fun.
What You'll Do
- Host engaging live online selling events
- Present and describe items on camera
- Keep live sales energetic, entertaining, and moving at a good pace
- Interact with viewers and shoppers in real time
- Highlight brands, styles, sizes, colors, features, and outfit possibilities
- Use your personality and fashion knowledge to make merchandise appealing
- Help organize and prepare merchandise before each live event
- Keep sold merchandise organized during and after shows
- Learn which products, presentation styles, and selling techniques generate the strongest results
- Help us experiment with and improve our live-selling process as we grow
Who We're Looking For
The right person for this role is someone who is naturally engaging and doesn't mind being the center of attention.
You should be:
- Very comfortable on camera
- Friendly, upbeat, confident, and conversational
- Able to think and speak quickly without needing a script
- Knowledgeable about women's fashion, brands, styles, and current trends
- Comfortable talking to and interacting with an online audience
- Able to create excitement around merchandise at a wide variety of price points
- Dependable, organized, and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning new technology and online selling tools
- Interested in helping build a new revenue channel from the ground up
Live Selling Experience Is a Big Plus
Previous experience with live selling, livestreaming, social media content, retail sales, fashion styling, online resale, auctions, or on-camera work is strongly preferred.
If you've hosted live sales before, we'd love to hear about your experience and what made your shows successful.
What Makes This Job Different
This isn't a traditional retail sales position where you stand behind a register.
We're looking for someone who can become the personality behind our live sales.
You'll have the opportunity to help shape how we present merchandise, develop the style and personality of our shows, test new ideas, and help us build an entirely new sales channel for our store.
