This is a Part Time Opportunity This position is perfect for the College Student or Stay at Home Mom who is looking to have fun, make some extra money and snag some great finds for themselves.

The Sales Associate / Fashion Stylist position is slated to work on Sunday from 11:45 - 5:30, Wednesday from 9:45 - 3 and another agreed upon shift based on need and availability. Sales Associate

Reports to Store Manager Status Non-exempt

This description is a "general" description of duties related to the position of a

Sales Associate and may be altered at any time.

POSITION PURPOSE

Assist Store leadership staff in selling the goods and services of the store. Promote a high level of customer service and involvement, and continually strive for innovative solutions and alternatives in bettering the business.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Greet customers immediately, determine their needs, and handle all transactions in a professional and enthusiastic manner to promote the Clothes Mentor image.

2. Become familiar with products, brands and prices and make recommendations of products, including their features and benefits, to meet customers' needs. Maximize sales/customer satisfaction by adding items to close the sale and helping to ensure great products are added online.

3. Explain our Buying Process and Invite customer to return to the store to sell and to shop in store or in our online store.

4. Straighten, Organize and Restock store following merchandising plan. Maintain store displays and follow store housekeeping and maintenance standards and procedures.

5. Develop proficiency in operating computerized sales tracking system for all sales transactions, buys, returns, etc.

6. Achieve personal and store sales goals by applying sound customer service and sales protocol.

7. Monitor and assist in the completion of daily store opening and closing procedures. To include, but not be limited to information reporting and
   
   Daily store maintenance/housekeeping duties

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Prior customer service experience required. Enjoys listening to and helping customers

2. Display a sense of personal style and the ability to assist others in pulling together looks and outfits.

3. Ability to work well as a team member and to take/follow directions.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Sales and goal-oriented.

6. Works efficiently during peak times and self motivates to improve item presentation / organization during slow times.

7. Must be computer literate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Standing for unlimited amount of time, sometimes up to 8 hours.

2. Lifting up to 40 lbs. unassisted.

3. Bending, rotating, reaching conductive to a retail environment and to receiving, pricing and stocking merchandise.
