What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design/Sales Consultant position at Closet Factory?

Well-established Company, the Closet Factory, is looking for Design Consultants who have the ambition and desire to become “Top Producers” and assist the company owner in helping the organization grow and reach its goals and objectives year after year. This is a commission-only sales position.

Closet Factory is a company whose # 1 goal is to design a custom organizational storage system you love. We provide people with custom closets, offices, entertainment centers, garage systems, pantries, bookshelves, and more.

We are not offering a job; we offer a career. This is your opportunity to control your income and your schedule. This is a commission-only sales position.

Performance objectives are:

  • Take 12-15 appointments per month
  • Sell a minimum of $30,000 to $50,000 per month of product in the first year
  • Maintain a 50% or more high closing ratio of appointments

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Two years or more of In-home or home improvement sales experience
  • Wants to control their income and their schedule
  • Loves to win and close the sale (Closer)
  • Loves the art and science of closing deals more than prospecting for them.
  • Proven outstanding communication skills and ability to close deals.
  • Strong work ethic, high energy, excellent team player
  • Trainable, coachable, and a strong desire to succeed and get it done
  • Essential computer skills are essential (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).essential train on our version of CAD and Salesforce
  • Outgoing, warm, and friendly; genuine caring for people
  • Excellent organizational skills and customer follow up
  • Proven outstanding communication skills and ability to close deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Close Sales Opportunities
  • Deliver a highly referable customer service experience each time
  • Develop loyal, long-term relationships with prospective customers
  • Design solutions to address customer’s needs and wants
  • Maintain appropriate contact to continue to mine opportunities for future annuity business.
  • Progress yearly to become a 1 million or more top sales producer ($100,000 or more of commission income per year) for the company and yourself.
