We are searching for a motivated Installation Technician to join our growing team. For over 30 years, Closet 1 Interiors has been keeping Northeast Wisconsin homeowners happy by providing premier custom organization systems. We are the area’s leader in professionally designed, manufactured, and installed custom closets for both new-home builders and retail/remodeling customers.
This is a rewarding, hands-on position for someone who appreciates hard work and loves seeing a project come together. With our company-paid training, the ideal candidate will be ready to confidently handle basic installations solo after just 30 days!

What You’ll Do:
- Perform onsite installation of wood and wire custom closet and organization systems.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our product lines, installation techniques, and construction basics.
- Provide top-tier customer service by recognizing situations that could impact client expectations and helping deliver smart solutions.
- Ensure every job is completed at the highest level of quality to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the shop with job prep and other routine shop duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
- License: A clean, current driver’s license (must be able to pass a driving background check) and comfort driving a company work van.
- Skills: Experience reading a tape measure and work orders is required.
- Physical Ability: Physically capable of lifting and carrying materials weighing 50 lbs.
- Experience: Background in carpentry, finish work, drywall, framing, painting, or roofing is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability: A flexible schedule with day shift availability between the hours of 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
