Paid Ad & Direct Response Copywriter (Onsite, Scottsdale)
Base salary: $85,000-$95,000 Performance Bonuses
Our client is one of the biggest names in health optimization: a $120M precision-wellness business serving 218,000 customers across 46 countries with an ad spend of $500K /month. Advanced diagnostics, custom protocols, and a clinical team people fly across the country for. The marketing team is expanding, and this role both writes and produces, turning real health science into content people can't scroll past.
The role: Write persuasive, direct-response copy that turns attention into action, from Meta ad hooks and scripts to landing pages, VSLs, website videos, and campaign launches. You'll translate clinical and scientific concepts into clear, compelling messaging, develop new angles and concepts every week, and help turn winning ideas into finished performance creative.

This is not a traditional content or video production role. We're not looking for corporate video producers, commercial production specialists, technical writers, or brand storytellers. We're looking for someone who understands direct-response marketing and knows how to make creative that drives action.
What you'll need:
- 4 years of professional copywriting experience, with a strong focus on direct-response or performance marketing
- A portfolio that shows copy built to drive action and conversions: paid social ads, landing pages, VSLs, sales pages, funnels, launches, or similar
- Proven experience writing direct-response ad copy and video scripts, especially for Meta and other paid social channels
- Strong understanding of hooks, angles, offers, CTAs, customer psychology, and the buyer journey
- Ability to develop creative concepts and scripts and guide them through production and post-production. This is not a traditional videographer or commercial production role
- Comfortable using performance data and creative learnings to iterate on copy, angles, and concepts
- Health, wellness, biotech, or medical experience is a plus; SEO/AIO experience is a plus
Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 base Performance Bonuses
