POSITION SUMMARY:
Looking for a career you can count on? As an Accountant at Cloeren, you will accurately and timely process accounting transactions for accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, inventory, and job costing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording data involving cash receipts, insurance allocation, property tax, inventory and fixed assets.
- Review, analyze and prepare monthly journal entries for multiple financial entities for month-end and year-end close.
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts as assigned.
- Maintain fixed asset register in accordance with the company's capitalization policy.
- Responsibility of inventory transactions including making necessary adjustments, performing cycle counts, and maintain and improving processes and controls.
- Support preparation of internal and external financial statements.
- Assist with annual audits and tax reporting.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel proficiency.
- Ability to generate, read, analyze, and interpret data from electronic ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and computer skills required.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, peers, and customers.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree or higher in accounting or related field preferred
- 2 years accounting experience in the areas of inventory and fixed assets.
