We are a small, family farm looking to add a very important team member. This person will fully integrate with us to run all aspects of our vegetable farm. In this roll you will always be busy. Experience or no experience, doesn't matter to us. However, you must possess a valid Class D Drivers License, be able to pass a background check and be willing/able to spend full days driving through Norfolk County & Boston making deliveries 2 to 3 days per week. 1. Honest
2. Responsible
3. Accountable

5. Intelligent
6. Respectful
7. Driven
If you possess these seven (7) attributes, you may be the person we are trying to find. But please, please, PLEASE take heed of #1 and be honest with yourself, the work is too important and the work space is too confined for anyone who lacks these attributes to be successful in this position. Don't waste our time or yours if you can't:
Tell the Truth, no matter how bad, crazy, costly or embarrassing the issue may be;
Show up when you are supposed to be somewhere;
Take full ownership of the tasks you are assigned and ensure proper execution of same;
Treat all people, from all walks of life, with the same level of respect they afford you;
Do what you are expected to do, without having to be watched or reminded;
Not take what isn't yours;
Stay off your cell phone or other devices during work hours;
Be on your feet for long periods of time, squatting, bending, using a ladder, crawling on the ground and generally getting very dirty.
The Minimum hours needed are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (8 AM - 4 PM) from now (FALL) through late winter or early spring.
If you do have farming/growing experience that's great too. Please include a brief letter with your resume explaining why you would like to meet us to discuss this opportunity. This listings isn't your "run of the mill" job description. We aren't looking for canned, AI responses. Let us know who you are and why you want to farm.
