Duties
- Perform comprehensive plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance on residential properties using hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute plumbing projects.
- Use welding, pipe threading, and assembly skills to create durable piping systems that meet safety and quality standards.
- Conduct remodeling and handyman tasks related to plumbing systems within residential settings.
- Operate heavy lifting equipment and perform construction site work with attention to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to HVAC systems that impact plumbing operations.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspection reports for each project.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related trades with a solid understanding of residential plumbing systems.
- Hands-on experience with construction site work, including blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and basic mechanical principles relevant to plumbing installations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites.
- Familiarity with remodeling projects, carpentry basics, and handyman tasks is highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driver’s license or ability to obtain one is preferred for transporting tools and materials between sites.
