About the Role
Clockwork is seeking a skilled client-facing problem solver to fill our Technical Account Engineer position. Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Utilize your networking expertise, systems engineering background, and consultative skills to serve as a trusted post-sales technical advisor, guiding customers in deploying and maximizing the value of Clockwork's networking software.
What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical point-of-contact for customers and lead the deployment and integration of Clockwork software into customer environments, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Continue to maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their evolving requirements and challenges, and acting as their advocate at Clockwork.
- Relay customer feedback and work closely with Clockwork's product and engineering teams to contribute to product improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation, tutorials, and other resources to enhance the customer experience.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
- Represent Clockwork at conferences and industry events, with occasional travel as required.
Experience/skills you bring to the position
- 5 years in a customer success, solutions engineering, or technical account management role, preferably within cloud or AI infrastructure domains.
- Previous pre-sales experience, including POCs, with client stakeholders such as senior technical staff and management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with GPU infrastructure and related technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- A degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field.
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, and Linux (Golang, C, C , and Java are a plus).
