Position Title: Construction Logistics Specialist III (ARM Terminal Roadway and ASR Assistant)
Location: Los Angeles, CA – (On-Site) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) (candidates must be willing and able to work on-site in accordance with LAWA policy; a LAWA Badge and federal background check are required)
Salary Range: $140,000 – $148,000 annually
Job Description:
- Maintains the CALM processes and workflows to ensure communication is sustained with all project teams and stakeholders, with accurate and timely data as it pertains to each activity.
- Receives and processes new, revised, and updated forms for signatures, and distributes completed forms to internal and external contacts.
- Maintains and updates agendas with new and revised information such as dates and permits, including expired permit dates, and coordinates stakeholder reviews and approvals.
- Maintains and updates information to include all new, revised, and updated activities, and prepares and updates agendas for each weekly workshop.
- Assists in managing CALM processes and supports Airport-wide program administration, including dashboard updates and reporting responsibilities.
- Coordinates training and contractor onboarding, and coordinates with City agencies to assist in the permit process.
- Requests concurrence from LAWA subject matter experts and notifies outside contractors of concurrence and any restrictions.
- Tracks and documents concurrence requests and distributes notification of upcoming projects.
- Performs various duties as assigned, such as presentation preparation, collecting and organizing information for deliverables, and assisting in tracking the daily deployment of multiple construction projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience; a graduate degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
- Problem solver with a strong ability to prioritize and switch gears in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within the complexities of multiple agencies at all levels.
- A general understanding of civil construction.
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or other related technical field required.
- Master's degree preferred; a graduate degree may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
- Relevant professional licensure and/or certifications strongly preferred, including AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, or similar.
Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with good presentation skills and the ability to share information and communicate effectively with team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, Access, and PowerPoint).
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Bluebeam.
- Ability to create dashboards, presentations, and graphics, and to build Gantt charts while tracking multiple ongoing activities.

- Must pass a federal background check.
The offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The salary range for this position is $140,000 – $148,000 annually.
