What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dial-A-Ride Bus Driver position at CLM Community Action?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for transporting passengers in a safe and secure manner from 6:30am-2:30pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Drives agency vehicle to transport passengers.
- Ensure that monies received for fare are submitted as instructed.
- Ensures that all safety and emergency equipment and supplies are maintained.
- Responsible for pre-trip inspections on a daily basis, report any damages or problems to the mechanic.
- Clean interior and exterior of the vehicle.
- Complete all drivers’ logs and vehicle checklist on a daily basis.
- Exemplify professionalism and project a positive attitude when communicating with staff, Clients and the general public.
- Representing CLMCAA in a positive manner in the community and when attending community events and training functions.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, workshops and training sessions.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- All other job related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
