Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape maintenance crews, ensuring efficient completion of daily tasks including lawn care, gardening, pruning, planting, and irrigation system management
- Oversee landscaping projects from conception through completion, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project specifications and deadlines
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for turf management, tree care, irrigation systems, and general site upkeep to ensure healthy landscapes year-round
- Conduct site inspections to monitor quality standards, safety compliance, and adherence to environmental regulations
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on horticultural techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation
- Manage procurement of landscaping materials, tools, and plants while maintaining budget efficiency
- Collaborate with clients or property managers to understand their vision and translate it into actionable landscape plans
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping design, or horticulture with a strong background in lawn care, tree care, irrigation systems, and construction projects
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor environments with a focus on safety and quality assurance
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Familiarity with landscape construction techniques and equipment operation
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Certifications or training in landscape management or related fields are preferred but not required
