CLK Commercial Building Maintenance Job Position: Industry leading office building owner/manager seeks a highly skilled maintenance team member to join our Facilities maintenance staff in Western Suffolk County. Professional and skilled in all or some of the following areas: · HVAC· Knowledge of BMS systems· Vendor Supervision [i.e. contractors & cleaning staff] being a requirement for the position· Carpentry· Light electrical· Light Plumbing· Painting. · Ability to communicate effectively with tenants· Knowledge & experience in using equipment, tools and materials used in building maintenance. · During snow season responsible for clearing walkways around building and maintaining with ice melt. Parking lots are taken care of by a vendor.· Willing to assist in emergencies on an as needed basis including emergency calls on non-scheduled hours, nights & weekends· Troubleshooting skills and some computer skillsMinimum 5 years’ supervisory experience, must be a proactive team player and able to manage a team of maintenance staff and vendors. OSHA Certification a plus.This position reports to overall Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.Hours are 7am – 3:30pm with OT as needed.Hourly wage commensurate with experience.Company DescriptionApplicants must reside within 20-25 miles of job site
