Duties
- Diagnose mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform repairs on various components including shocks, struts, air brakes, and tire services.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand the layout of systems for troubleshooting.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for mechanical repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
- Experience with air brake systems, shocks, struts, and tire service is preferred.
- Ability to read schematics for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Familiarity with crane operation is a plus.
