Responsibilities
- Review, log and process incoming applications.
- Interview applicants, verify income, conduct background checks, and determine eligibility.
- Accept monthly rent payments, issue formal receipts, and accurately log transactions into the housing database.
- Maintain accurate tenant accounts, track delinquencies, and issue late rent notices when necessary.
- Collaborate with landlords, property managers, and community partners to facilitate placements and negotiate lease agreements.
- Manage the housing applicant waitlist in compliance with local policies and HUD regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquires regarding rent balances, applications and housing rules.
- Inventory management, monitor the inventory of office supplies, stationery and printing materials.
